Marilyn Walls Duncan grew up in Rolla, MO. and moved to Houston in the 1981. Since she was a child, Marilyn would visit senior care centers with her father, who was a pastor. She developed a special relationship with the elderly community from that point on. Later in life Marilyn noticed that many senior citizens were confused about how to navigate through the legal system and realized that they were being taken advantage of. Marilyn decided to attend the South Texas College of Law and obtained her law degree in order to assist seniors when they are seeking legal advice and services, while maintaining reasonable fees.
BUSINESS
Before Marilyn attended law school, she was involved in several business ventures and she brings her expertise in business to North Dallas Legal, PLLC. Her past ventures in the real estate and investment business world creates a wide diversity of knowledge when navigating clients through their legal business needs. Recently, Marilyn’s husband, Rick, joined the firm as Marilyn’s paralegal. Rick’s educational background is in legal studies, business and criminal justice. He has been an entrepreneur for nearly 4 decades and with his business expertise, Rick assists North Dallas Legal, PLLC in several realms as a paralegal.
